Career Exploration & Exposure

At ALYFS, we provide youth with valuable exposure to a wide range of career paths, helping them discover and explore their passions. Through targeted programming for youth ages 6-18, we offer career assessments, industry insights, and opportunities to engage with professionals in both traditional and non-traditional fields. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we open doors to a variety of career experiences and opportunities for future success.

Skill-Building & Independence

We believe in preparing youth for the real world by fostering independence and equipping them with essential life skills. Our programs focus on developing social-emotional skills such as collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving—key attributes that employers seek. Through mentorship and hands-on learning experiences, including internships and apprenticeships, we help youth gain the foundational skills they need to thrive both personally and professionally.

ALYFS prepares young people ages 13-30 for successful careers by providing opportunities to build practical employability skills. Our workshops cover essential topics such as interviewing, resume writing, financial literacy, and technical skills. Participants can also earn certifications in areas like CPR, food service, and babysitting, giving them a competitive edge in the workforce and setting them on a path to long-term career success.
